Dead Dog Followup
I will leave to our resident Shakepeares for race reports, but I would like to mention that we had a nice turnout for the masters guys. In alphabetical order:
Pete Baker
Brian Brothers
Carter Faber
Scott Gilleon
Dave Klein
Matt Morgan
Todd Robertson
Dan Smoker (and son)
Brad With (and family)
Also, Jim Peterman had a great weekend in the 1-2's - a top 10 in the TT. Andy Hageman was top 10 in the 4's.

Road Race blues
The wings on my back were not working as planned
I watched the front guys roll away like jet fighters on a mission
I found a teammate to give me some cheer
When all I really wanted was a beer (and some EPO injectors)
I sat in the laughing group not really laughing
and with 4 miles to the turnaround made a bid for the next group.
On the descent I was flying in a high speed tuck
And as the cat4 wheel truck pulled out in front of me I screamed “WHAT THE F&%K?”
Between him and uphill traffic I dashed
I was lucky I didn’t end up like pressed trash
The group I had left were now on my heels
And through the cat4s we flew on our wheels
Passing the last feed zone without grabbing a bottle
We hit Centennial and I knew I was in trouble
Not much water and my legs were starting to knot
It wouldn’t be long before I needed a cot (and a beer)
1.5 miles to go
My legs said “no no”
On the side of the road I stretched
Till I heard Todd yell “get on your bike you wretch”
I caught onto his wheel verbally lamenting my misfortune
Then he said “enough of this talk, I have a flat tire”
Very well I agreed, as our battered bodies and steeds
Made a go for the last half a mile.
Beer
Shakespeare!!!!!!
